Alright, so on the 20th of August I started school. It was also Jacob and my 4 month anniversary! Yaaaayy!!!! My schedule goes as follows:
period1-open
period2-modern civilizations
period3-chemistry
period4-spanish 2
period5-concert choir
period6-honors english
period7-geometry
It’s pretty boring aside from honors english and concert choir. Believe it or not, Chemistry gives A TON more homework than honors. Ridiculous, right?
Yesterday I went to the Vans Warped Tour with my friend Ana. (My first concert ever! Lame, I know.)

I saw/heard quite a few bands, here they are in no particular order: Pepper, Chiodos, Bayside, Boys like girls, Bad Religion, Sum 41, Circa Survive, Flogging Molly, The Almost, Coheed and Cambria, etc.
My favorite was Sum 41, mostly because I grew up on them, and because the crowd was so amazing. For 30 minutes before their set, there was an insane water bottle fight. This is no exaggeration- there were thousands of water bottles on the ground and flying through the air. Ana and I got hit in the head with them many times each and we got completely drenched by one bottle that was half full that hit us. (in that case, maybe it was half empty?)
The moshing was insane for that one mostly because by that time all the adults (and some of the kids) were either stoned or drunk. Fortunately, Ana and I ended up next to some guys our age who watched out for us and helped keep water bottles from hitting us, and helped keep us from getting thrown into the mosh pits. Madness!
I had the time of my life, though, because the music was good, (and maybe I have a strange liking for being smashed between random strangers screaming the lyrics to our favorite songs at the top of our lungs?) Yeah. I know. I’m a teenager. Oh, and not to mention the sweat. And the condom balloons people made out of the condoms trojan threw out into the crowd at almost every set, and getting my feet pummeled, and my hair pulled.
All thanks to Ana and her brother Chris for taking us to warped tour ‘07!
Sounds perfect…and you have the bruises to prove it.
